Mariana-Aga’s San Francisco Bread

Introducing a spectacular home baker with origins in Russia who bakes truly magnificent sourdough, here is Mariana Aga with her San Francisco French Bread. Mariana has been an inspiration to me since I began this blog. She has a journal of incredible breads. Her blog is gaining in popularity as she works on her goal to bake 300 of the 1000 classic Russian breads. Visit her blog at Mariana Aga’s Bread Journal. Many of her recipes are in Russian so download Google’s translator to obtain a translation of the excellent posts of her breads.

Mariana’s sourdough submission is for her magnificent  San Francisco French Bread.

I asked her to submit to Magnificent Sourdough’s when I visited her blog and saw her beautiful San Francisco Loaf:

  1. I totally agree that Mariana’s-Aga bread journal was incredibly helpful for all home bakers….
It’s a pity, but she has deleted her journal and everybody that knew her site before is looking for contacting her just to ask her to restore it and continue giving us enjoyable bread baking with her recipes…
